Something a lot of people ask me all the time is, "What's Thorns?"
Thorns is a comic about this rabbit named Oliver going back into his hometown after he was forced to move out of Gabriel's laboratory due to it being near a place where mendacium syndrome victims have been found to be there more than once.
Once he goes back into his hometown, he starts to get involved in some supernatural shenanigans with this strange blue tiger lady called Felicitas Ellis who desperately wants to see him.
Not a lot of people know about this comic, which is weird considering I think people would absolutely adore Thorns.
I love this comic, mainly because of the memories I hold within my heart.
When I first discovered this comic all the way back on January 14th, 2021, I fell in love instantly. I would post about the comic, similar to the way I post about it today, I would make shitposts involving the characters, same thing I do today!
I even still use the same memes I did 5 years ago, The Rät Thorns PMV, I believe I chose this one because Susan was my favorite character back then.
One thing I love about the comic is the art, and the story, it has always kept on evolving with time.
I mean, look at how it looked like 5 years ago!
MASSIVE improvement. Shading finally became a thing, it was already tested in the last Premake pages and if I'm being honest, it looks good!
Not to mention the writing improved drastically, before the characters would be like
"hey! how's life"
"my dog just got hit by a car rode by an evil clown"
"oh.. ok!"
Now they actually talk like how real people would!
One thing I hope to see in the comic is a chapter about Luka and his friends, We need a Luka episode. I want to see more of them and his friends.
